1951 to 2024 CELEBRATING 73 YEARS.

Trenance Holiday Park was created by the Hoyte family and has been personally run by them now for 3 generations, during which time Newquay has grown into one of the top 5 most popular resorts in the UK. This traditional Park lies close to the heart of Newquay, no other Park offers such a convenient location, situated as it does within the Trenance valley area of Newquay, without doubt one of parts of the most attractive areas of the resort.  Beautiful award winning gardens, a boating lake, historical cottages and numerous sport facilities all within the surrounding 26 acre Leisure Park form an unrivalled setting.

The recently restored Trenance Cottages (amongst the oldest buildings left), show the historic past of Newquay and with it’s own tearooms the ideal spot for a genuine Cornish cream tea!

The valley ends by the tidal River Gannel estuary, a haven for wild birds and great for canoeing, paddle boarding etc. reaching the sea at the fabulous Crantock Beach (Be aware of strong tidal currents). Cross the footbridge for direct access to the coastal footpath.

We are very proud of our high percentage of repeat bookings, and unlike many of the large corporate Parks, a warm personal welcome awaits.

Why Visit Newquay

From a sleepy fishing village centred around the harbour, Newquay has grown to be one of the ‘must stay’ destinations, capitalising on the beautiful beaches and coastline that provides some of the finest surfing in Europe. Ideally situated for exploring the rest of Cornwall no-where is too far away.
